Birth Choices is a non-profit organization in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Birth Choices started in 1996 under the name The Association for Safe Choices in Childbirth. In late 2009 Birth Choices merged with The Fort McMurray Doula Association (FMDA).
Currently, Birth Choices offers free prenatal information sessions once per month, hosts community baby showers for expectant women (and their families & friends) as well as an annual baby/toddler garage sale in the late winter.
The garage sale is tentatively set for February 6. It will be confirmed in early January. Please contact 780-79-BIRTH to reserve a table ($20 each).
These prenatal sessions are held at The Hub at 10020 Franklin Avenue (in downtown Fort McMurray) on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM. **NEW TIME**
All are welcome at our meetings; we encourage you to bring your spouse and/or other support person with you.
